CFC Juniors Development Program

2020/21 CFC Juniors Development Program
*No Tryout is required to participate in program, players will be grouped by age/skill*
This program is for boys and girls (born 2015-2012).
CFC is proud to announce the 2020/21 season of our Juniors Development Program for players interested in furthering their soccer development by training The CFC Way. CFC has been at the forefront of youth soccer player development for over 20+ years in Connecticut and continues to develop more college players than any other soccer club in the state!
Our Soccer Program participants will be trained and coached by professional CFC coaches who look to bridge the development between recreational and competitive soccer by using CFC training methods in a fun, friendly environment. In the year-round month program players will train and play competitive games, as well as an opportunity to play indoor during the winter months.
In order to provide an environment that allows for optimal development of all participates, players will be grouped by age/skill. Our older/advanced participants will be introduced to a 7v7 game environment where our younger/beginning players will play small sided 4v4 games.

CFC North Tryouts

CFC North Tryouts

CFC NORTH Boys And Girls '20-21 Tryouts

Note: All participants must register to tryouts.  No cost to tryout or register.
CFC offers a variety of teams for players of all ability levels to aid them in their desire to continue to improve and develop as soccer players.  To meet those needs, CFC North will have teams that will compete both locally in state (EDP) and regionally.  The top players from the North will make up the CFC North Regional (U13-U19).
Four Programs in the North
North Regional - our regional program out of the North competes in the EDP National or NEP NPL
City (Manchester) – state program that competes in the EDP CT league.
SportsWorld (E. Windsor) - state program that competes in the EDP CT league.
Wolves (Rocky Hill) - state program that competes in the EDP CT league.
Why CFC?
  • Coaching staff now includes 31 coaches who are either head or assistant coaches at Connecticut and Northeast colleges. No other club in the nation can compete with our staff as far as overall college exposure for potential college soccer players.
  • 74 CFC ‘19 Seniors plan on playing college soccer next year at schools such as Georgetown, Maryland, Ohio State, Quinnipiac and UConn to name a few.
  • Exposure to top leagues in the Northeast for our Elite players (ECNL, EDP National and NEP NPL) without the need to give up High School soccer
  • National Team exposure - Half a dozen players in the past year have been invited Youth National Team camps and/or national id2 camps
  • First CFC Player to score in an MLS game
  • CFC United player drafted in the NWSL
  • Two players played in the 2019 Women’s World Cup
  • Several Players over past couple years have been accepted into Revolution MLS Academy
  • Our size is an advantage.  We offer players of all skill the appropriate level for them.
CFC is planning on holding evaluations for players upon return. As of today, we do not have a return date available. Please keep checking the website for up to date information and register online to receive up to the date e-mails.

As outlined below, there are two distinct branches in nearly every area that work as "brother/sister" branches.  At the younger ages, each branch has its own developmental program and Premier teams from U11-U13.  At the U14 age, the United program begins for both boys and girls for the most talented and committed players in the club.  The United Girls have two teams per age group and compete in the ECNL and NPL, while the boys program has one team that will compete in the ECNL (starting in '17/'18) and one that will continue to compete in the NEP NPL League.

For those that do not want to make the commitment involved with the United program, CFC offers State and Regional Level teams for the U14-U18 age groups.  Based locally in the branch areas, the two branches closest to each other work together to form teams that will play in the Region I League and the Connecticut State Cup.  If the demand is there, each branch may field separate teams from U14-U18, but there will always be a convenient place to play for players of all ability levels.

Whether your goal is to play soccer at the highest level in college, or stay sharp for your high school season, CFC offers something for everyone.
